Originally going to SAS as SE-DBH in 9.68, this Super DC-8 joined Thai in 3.74; note scrubbed Icelandair titles visible on the roof, after a summer lease. Bought by Sterling in 7.84 (OY-SBM) then reverted to the original Danish reg with SAS/Scanair in 1986. After conversion to freighter in 1989, she joined Aer Turas as EI-CGO then Al-Dawood as 9G-NHA in 12.03, later to Air Charter Express. Impounded at Lagos 4.04 and stored in ex-Aer Turas colours and dirty condition; b/u 1.13

Thai was one of the founder airlines of Star Alliance in 1997; this A330 goes back nearly as far, being delivered the year after.

Here is the original HS-TGN, re-registered at HS-THN in 1990, allowing TGN to be used on a B744 deliverd at the end of 1992. The A300 went to Filton in 1.99 for freighter conversion for DHL but this did not proceed and she was scrapped at Ardmore, OK by 4.03
