Built as Kfir C1 (IAF serial 739) and later modified to Kfir C1P. 739 was leased to the USN between Apr'85-Mar'88. The USN/USMC leased 25 Kfirs between '85 and '89, which were officially designated F-21A. They were modified for use as unarmed adversaries. 12 F-21s were painted in this 3-tone blue-gray "ghost" scheme and were operated by Fighter Squadron (VF) 43 "Challengers" ('AD'), operating out of Oceana. In 1988 they were returned and replaced by the F-16N. The other 13 were assigned to VMFAT-401 at MCAS Yuma (AZ), these were replaced by the F-5E in '89. 739 is last seen stored at Tel Aviv.

This F-5E was delivered new to the South Vietnamese Air Force in 1974. In April 1975 it was flown to Thailand as South Vietnam fell. It was returned to the U.S. for the USAF with s/n 73-0900. After being used for several years as an aggressor a/c by them, it was transferred to the US Navy and assigned Bureau Number 160796. It was retired on 5 January 2006 and is now on display at NAS Fallon, Nevada. Slide taken by Mr. A.C. Brooks.

This Kfir C1P was used by Fighting Squadron 43 "Challengers" as an adversary aircraft. The aircraft received the F-21A Kfir designation in US service. 999710 was former Israeli Air Force serial 710 and arrived in the US Navy in August 1985 and was returned to Israel after the lease contract was ended in March 1988. It was assigned tailcode AD but this was not carried. 710 is stored sinds the mid-90s at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion with IAI.

This Kfir C1P was used by Fighting Squadron 43 "Challengers" as an adversary aircraft. The aircraft received the F-21A Kfir designation in US service. 999703 was former Israeli Air Force serial 703 and arrived in the US Navy in early 1986 and was returned to Israel after the lease contract was ended in March 1988. It was assigned tailcode AD but this was not carried. 03 is preserved at Ramon air base (Israel) since February 2004.
