Constructed as a HOK-1, but redesignated OH-43D around 1962. Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 5H0003 in February 1965. By 1991 it was acquired by the Pima Air & Space Museum and received ' Marines' colors and WB-7 marking. By September 2011 the aircraft received the paint that you see in this photo.

Marine One when flying the US President during Presidents Nixon and Ford administrations, this VH-3 returned to regular service in 1976. Flying with Helicopter Combat Support Squadrons until retired in 2003, the historic helicopter was then transferred to the Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola. It was restored to Executive configuration by the Sabreliner Corporation and placed on display in August 2011.

Presidential transport during the 75 years D-Day celebrations. These aircraft were stationed at the Caen aeroclub compound. It took some time for the rain to clear, but once this had happened we got some nice clear sunny spells.
