Serial 273 was delivered to the Netherlands on 12 Feb'80 and acts now as an instructional airframe with ROC Leeuwenborgh at Maastricht Aachen Airport. 273 was furnished with a cartoon "That's all Folks" markings", finish flags, mission marks, and names of the final pilots, mechanics, and other officers. Pictured during its final landing at homebase De Kooy. Special marked SH-14D serial 261 gave a display during the reirement ceremony of the type with the Dutch Navy. Serial 261 was delivered to the Netherlands on 16 December 1976 and is preserved in Brussel museum since June 2014. 261, like serials 273 and 283, was furnished with a cartoon "That's all Folks" markings", finish flags, mission marks, and names of the final pilots, mechanics, and other officers. Pictured during the day the type was retired from service within the Royal Netherlands Navy. 283 was delivered to the Dutch Navy on 7 Apr'81 as a SH-14B, later converted to SH-14D and served 860sq until its retirement on 9 Sep'11. The Lynx is preserved at the National Military Museum in Soesterberg since Apr'13. 283 was furnished with a cartoon "That's all Folks" markings", finish flags, mission marks, and names of the final pilots, mechanics, Vessel Security Officers (VSO), Vessel Deck Officers (VDO) and Tactical Coordinators (TACCO). During the nineties the Dutch Navy used a tiny serial presentation. Best to read are the last two digits in the nose wheel bay...

Picture was taken by my father (Hendrik Prins) who served within the Navy in Nieuw Guinea till 1959. In August 1956 it was withdrawn from use after encountering an incident.

The first Canadian-manufactured Grumman Tracker, delivered to the RCN as 1502 in 1956. Seventeen (C)S2F-1s were supplied to the Netherlands in 1960-61 and based on Curaçao for training and local defence. An Agusta-Bell (I)UH-1, 222, is also seen.
