This Tomcat was delivered to the US Navy as F-14A. It was converted to F-14D(R) and seen here at the hangar deck of the TR during maintenance. The aircraft was struck of charge on 12 April 2006 and subsequently preserved in the Carolinas Aviation Museum at Charlotte-Douglas IAP (NC).
