Quite an attractive colour scheme on this RV-8A taxying for departure after the Houdini Centenary Air Show. The aircraft was first registered on 21 March 2000.

Originally built by De Havilland Australia for South Africa as DX760, but delivered to RAAF as A17-667 24 Nov 43. Wartime service with 10 EFTS, then selected for post-war retention. Based RAAF East Sale in the '50s. Overhauled by De Havilland in '52 & allocated new cn T11. Later allocated for use as ground training aid and re-serialed as Inst No. 11. Sold in '57 and registered as VH-AUK, then VH-AJM, VH-EOV, and finally VH-HSH. Seen departing the Houdini-Centenary Air Show.

This Yak-52TW ('Tailwheel, Westernised') was built in 2004 by Aerostar in Romania. It was registered in the USA as N4ZE before being exported to Australia and registered VH-YKK on 10 December 2007. It's seen here getting airborne for an aerobatic display at the Houdini-Centenary Air Show.

This 1980 Turbo Stationair was on static display at the Houdini-Centenary Air Show. Originally N73394, in January 1983 it was registered in New Zealand as ZK-SEW to Air Safaris & Services. In December 2002 it changed hands to Milford Sound Scenic Flights, and on 9 June 2009 it was re-registered in Australia.

The oldest airworthy aeroplane in Australia, this was also the first Moth to be exported from the UK, being first registered in Australia as G-AUAE on 5 November 1925 to the Civil Aviation Branch, Department of Defence. It was re-registered as VH-UAE in 1930. In later years it was re-built to DH-60G standard and is preserved in immaculate condition today at Walcha, NSW. This 1976 model Citabria was imported new into Australia and registered on 1 September that year. Currently based in Victoria, it's seen here departing after the Houdini-Centenary Air Show.
