This aircraft has been a freighter for all of its life, which ended on May 8, 2013 at Wamena airport, when it caught fire on the ground unloading fuel drums. Flew with TNT Airways and Ansett Air Freight as VH-JJY in Australia, then as SE-DRN for West Air Europe in Scandinavia before heading to Indonesia in June of 2009.

This airframe was the first stretched and new military C-130H-30. Coming off Lockheed's production line in September 1980, it was first assigned to Skadron Udara 32 based in Jakarta-Halim, before moving to SkU 31. Till a few years ago it had the grey/white livery with a yellow vertical fin, see previous picture.

This airframe is one of six L-100-30 sold to the Indonesian Government in the early 1980's. It flew with Pelita as PK-PLT and later as PK-MLT with Merpati. In 1990 is was modified with eleven B727 windows visible on both sides of the fuselage. Sold to the TNI-AU in late 1995. Although built as a civilian L-100-30 - without the lower cockpit windows - it later received the typical C-130 front section containing 23 cockpit windows.

Built in 1991, flew as HS-TBO with Thai Airways, then as G-JEBC with Jersey European Airways, British European Airways and Flybe before being sold to Aviastar in December of 2007. On April 9, 2009, the aircraft crashed into a hill close to Wamena Airport in bad weather, killing all 6 on board.

This F-27 used to fly in Switzerland with Farner Air Transport as HB-ISQ, before being used to ferry passengers and freight between Sentani and the Baliem Valley in Papua. It was delivered to Trigana in January 2003 and was broken up around 2012, after being replaced by the more economic ATR-42/ATR-72 aircraft.

The Indonesian AF has been operating Hercules aircraft since 1960, and has so far aquired from different sources around 40 units of the versions C-130B, C-130H, C-130H-30 and L-100-30. Most of them wear camouflage colers by now, only A-1316 plus sisterships A-1314, A-1318 and A-1341 still carry the "old" white/grey/yellow livery. A-1316 is assigned to Skadron Udara 32 based at Malang / Abdul Rachman Saleh AB in South Eastern Java.

This aircraft was used to haul freight between Sentani-Jayapura and Wamena. It entered service with Jayawijaya Dirgantara, a cargo airline owned by the local Paupuan Government, in 2015, and had a landing accident in Wamena on May 25, 2018. It ran off the runway and has been broken up.
