This aircraft does not appear in any FAA listing although from fragments of the registration in other photos confirms it is NC18399 as stated by the Smithsonian. Erickson & Remmert were a Waco dealer and the current FAA register shows N18399 to be a temporary registration reserved for use of manufacturers.
