Two/three Tristars were detached at Milano Malpensa airport during the Operation Deny Flight. At that time, actual Terminal 1 at west side of the airport was not yet present. Tristars were based at the old west ramp and personnel hosted in buildings belonging to former Caproni plant

This Jaguar is loaded with 2 x 1200 litres external tanks, 2 x 1000 lbs GP bombs, an ALQ-101 ECM pod on the left outboard pylon, a Phimat chaff dispenser on the right outboard pylon and 2 x AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles on the upper wing pylons. The GR code should refer to the RAF 54th Sqn. 216 Sqn Tristars were detached at Milano Malpensa airport.
