Ryan B-5 Brougham N9236 was built in 1929. It is displayed as "NC731M" which was used in a 1930 "San Diego-Quito Expedition" and is marked thus.

The first of two experimental delta-winged vertical take-off test planes acquired under a USAF programme in the mid 1950s. This example retains the test marking on its fin used to help video recording of its flights.

Built for US Navy as 48406. Operated as N5590V 1956-1986. Exhibited in the museum since that date wearing USN colours.

The second of four Sea Darts to be completed and the last of the two which flew in 1953/54. Single-seat delta-wing Jet-powered Flying boat fighter taking off and landing on twin hydroskis. Retired in 1957 and planned production of other examples was cancelled.
