Taking part in a display to commemorate the Berlin Airlift, 50 years on. The markings are those of the RAF in South-East Asia. The aircraft also wears its old military serial, TS423.

Painted in the fictional markings of Ruskin Air Services for filming and wearing the equally fictional registration 'G-AGHY'.

I realise the way things are now that RIAT can no longer be 'just' an air show, rather has become an all round families day out. This means that the show arprons are packed with outlets/stalls/etc., that have nothing to do with aviation but will keep the casual visitor entertained and bring in valuable income for the organisers. Unfortunately this means that often the static exhibits have hideous backgrounds .... yet RIAT brings in planes that are so interesting for me but hard to photograph elsewhere.

This aircraft was displaying a false registration. It was in fact G-DAKS and tha airline markings were for a Television drama series called Airline

These are fictious markings, the correct registration being G-DAKS. The aircraft was used in the filming of a UK Television series called Airline
