This is a composite using parts of 8214 and 8215 and was acquired in May 1970.

This replica was built in 1978 by FEM Displays for Leisure Sport. It was displayed in the Lightwater Valley Theme Park. It was sold in Oct 1987.

A composite of several airframes, parts from Sopwith Baby 8214 and 8215 were used in this rebuild.

At The Fleet Air Arm Museum when 'The Jabberwock' was suspended with the propellor rotating.

Developed from the Sopwith Schneider racing seaplane, the Baby was widely used by the Royal Navy during World War I. This composite airframe in the FAA Museum is fitted with rockets which were to be fired against German airships, as illustrated in the background. Balloons were downed by aircraft using these primitive cardboard Le Prieur rockets, but never a Zeppelin.
