Delivered to the Royal Navy and transferred to the RAF in November 1978. Became 8998M and preserved on the gate at RAF Leuchars. It's now back in its Royal Navy livery with the Ulster Aviation Society.

Operated by the 58th Military Airlift Squadron based at Ramstein, West Germany. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with parkcode TG040 in 1984. To Florence-Darlington Technical College, SC for use as a ground trainer in 1990.
