The Maritime Safety Agency is Japan's Coast Guard.

This YS-11 was delivered to the Japanese Maritime Safety Agency in March 1969 and made its last, farewell flight from Ibaraki to Haneda in January 2011. It was later ferried to Yonago/Miho Air Base for storage/disposal. In this picture, note the construction in the background of the modern day Haneda airport.

Registered on 31 Jan 1968. This aircraft was withdrawn from use in the early 1980s, and the registration was cancelled on 9 July 1981. It was later reported as preserved in Takigawa, Japan, but no evidence of this could be found.

This Skyvan was delivered to the JMSA in the previous year, on 12 March 1975 (ex G-BCIB). It was sold to Australia in December 1997 as VH-IBT for resale, and became N643M in April 1998. Cessna T210L JA3749 (c/n 210-60991) is being prepared in the background. Apologies for the Beechcraft blocking the nose of the Skyvan.
