One of the founding aircraft of Tony Osborne's British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived by air from Shawbury 15 days prior to this photo, on 14 March 1967. Wearing BHAM logo on the entry door. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972. By that time TX211/G-AVHU had been vandalised. It donated its outer wings, rudder, tailplane & port engine to VL348/G-AVVO in the summer of 1971 and was scrapped late 1971/early 1972.

Tony Osborne's newly acquired Hawk Speed Six bearing the titles of his nascent British Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972. G-ADGP was sold on to another owner in March 1970.
