This Skyhawk was withdrawn and stored at MASDC in 1973. Later becoming part of the National Museum Of Naval Aviation collection, it has been on loan to Aerospace Museum of California in Sacramento, CA since 2006. Although painted as Blue Angel 2, this early Skyhawk never flew with the team.

Percival H. Spencer's original Spencer Amphibian Air Car was bought by Republic Aviation and developed into the SeaBee. In 1968, Spencer developed a four place homebuilt again called the Spencer Amphibian Air Car. In 1980, the two seat S-14 Junior program began, with first flight November 4, 1983 (with 86 year old P. H. Spencer at the controls). Even with modifications, the design did not meet expectations and the program was terminated in 1984. This sole S-14 was donated to the EAA Museum.
