In 2013 the old airport in Doha was still in use, and arrivals over the bay would pass the corniche near the National museum. As in many Gulf state airports, most traffic passes at night. I am still happy to get at least one small Qatar Airways Airbus on approach at this location.

When visiting Doha recently, I was outside and in between some buildings and palm trees when I heard an aircraft grunt. I quickly got rid of my backpack, zipped it open for the camera, activated it, lens cover away, point, shoot, voila. The weather was bad that day... resulting in a bad picture too, but hey it's a Aviación Militar Nacional Bolivariana (Venezuela Air Force) Y-8F of Grupo 6. Weird aircraft at a weird location!
