When visiting Doha recently, I was outside and in between some buildings and palm trees when I heard an aircraft grunt. I quickly got rid of my backpack, zipped it open for the camera, activated it, lens cover away, point, shoot, voila. The weather was bad that day... resulting in a bad picture too, but hey it's a Aviación Militar Nacional Bolivariana (Venezuela Air Force) Y-8F of Grupo 6. Weird aircraft at a weird location!
At this time China Postal operated three of these licence-built An-12 copies and later added two more along with a fleet of seven B733Fs, all flying in a revised and rather smart green livery. Cn painted on fin as "1002". The registration B-3102 was previously used on Y8B cn 050805.
