The Donnet-Lévêque 'Flying Fish' was a succesful early flying boat, selling to Austria-Hungary, Denmark and Sweden.before WWI, and the precursor of the FBA (Schreck) types. This replica of a Type C model has wheels like the original prototype in 1912, and was first flown here at La Ferté-Alais by Edmond Salis on 16 November 2017.
The Donnet-Lévêque A was the first French seaplane and was inspired by the Curtiss floatplanes. It first flew on 15th March 1912 and attempted to fly to London on 9th August of that year though it had an accident at Boulogne. It is part of the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace
