Taken at an unknown location, assumed to be the New York area.

Several of these made technical stops here in the late 1970s to early 1980s. Since they were based in NY State, one wonders what they were doing so far away from home. Could they have been on lease to the US Military in Alaska before they had their own? This one was scrapped at Dodson Aircraft Parts by 1993.

Delivery flight

Interesting one this. Acquired in Mar 81, it was reported as re-reg N58DD in Mar 82. Here, in June, it is still N330SB but has 58 on the nose. This was the first Shorts 330 to carry N330SB, from Jul 1979 until shortly after this photo was taken. The same registration was carried by c/n SH3013 from Oct 1984 until cancelled in Mar 2016.

Converted to 330-200 in 1987.

Command was the first to operate an ATR-42 in the U.S., this being the one.

Command leased this 330 from Air North for 3 months in the summer of 1981.
