Delivered to USAAF as 42-96821 15th Sept.1944 and to the Indian Government 10th April 1946. Registered N2085A 7th March 1957 and after being civilianised was cancelled 2nd April 1957 on sale to Transair Sweden as SE-CFA. Acquired by Tor-Air 4th June 1965 who used it to operate a weekly freight flight into Southend from Malmö but ceased operations after that flight of 24th August 1966. Later became 9Q-CWN (June 1968) and 9T-PLK (1969). Aircraft was DBR 15th July 1970 after the port engine failed and aircraft ran into a ditch alongside the runway while emergency landing at Mbuji Mayi, Congo.

Built in 1943 and served with USAAF and USN. Registered as SE-CFE, it was owned by Transair Sweden from May 1958 until October 1965 when it passed to Tor-air and then Fairline. It became 9Q-CZG in July 1967. Withdrawn from use in 1970 and subsequently scrapped. Exact date unknown. Photographer not known.

Became 9Q-CRP in1968 then disappeared. Myself and two friends had just arrived on a Swissair Caravelle (supposedly) night flight from Gatwick. Fog at Zurich had kept us grounded until the morning so we were able to get this on arrival.

Built in January 1944 for US Navy as R5C-1 39526. Served Tor-Air from July 1965 until sold to Fairline Sweden in November 1966.
