The aircraft was used for several years as an 'eye catcher' on a Bournemouth roundabout, advertising the air show, in this case for 2010. It was covered in a red, plastic coating and then lettering applied before being dismantled as shown, ready for us to transport it to the roundabout, where it would remain until just after the show ended. [The aircraft was never quite watertight and usually as I hung onto the nose to guide the aircraft as the crane operator lifted the fuselage into place, I also got a free shower as rainwater ran out ... ]

Although this arrived from Old Sarum on 18th February 2005, it took a while for it to be rebuilt and here the Leopard is seen in a rig shortly before it was put back together again.

Following many years in the red scheme, this was lovingly restored back to its original markings.

Unusually, the museum has both completed versions of this type and the first one is in the process of being rebuilt for external display.

A 4 seat twin jet powered light aircraft, designed by a former BAe Chief Research Engineer, it first flew in December 1988.
