The aircraft was used for several years as an 'eye catcher' on a Bournemouth roundabout, advertising the air show, in this case for 2010. It was covered in a red, plastic coating and then lettering applied before being dismantled as shown, ready for us to transport it to the roundabout, where it would remain until just after the show ended. [The aircraft was never quite watertight and usually as I hung onto the nose to guide the aircraft as the crane operator lifted the fuselage into place, I also got a free shower as rainwater ran out ... ]
