Taking off on runway 10R. Delivered to American Airlines as N7535A in 1960. To MEA as OD-AGB in 1973 then to Pratt & Whitney Canada as C-FWXI in 1995 and used for engine testing. Reregistered as N720PW in 2000. Withdrawn from use at Plattsburgh, NY and scrapped in 2008.

Former American Airlines Boeing 720 N7535A (1960 - 73). The aircraft was stored at Mojave, CA circa 1995, bought by Pratt & Whitney of Canada and registered C-FWXI. Used as a source of parts for P & W's 720 C-FETB until made flyable again in 2000. It was registered N720PW and based in Plattsburg, NY as a P & W engine test bed until again used for parts for C-FETB. It was broken up at Plattsburg circa 2017.

Previously N7535A with American Airlines. You can read the ghost letters/symbols on the aluminium when it was delivered 'bare metal' to MEA via Heathrow. Apparently the aircraft survived as a P&W engine test-bed til at least 2008
