Originally World War II 42-2472 , this Beech 18 was re-manufactured to become USAF 51-11696. Having flown for years with Mercy Flights of Medford, OR, the aircraft was retired in 1980. It's now on display at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA.

After seventeen years of service with the USAAF this C-45 went on to save countless lives as a medevac aircraft in Oregon and Northern California. She was built in 1942 and finally retired in 1980 so fully deserves her place amongst other great aircraft at the incredible Museum of Flight.
