The HKP 2 is the only helicopter that has served in all three branches of the Swedish defense forces. This HKP 2 was delivered in 1959 to the Armeflygkar's (Swedish army) and was used, among other things, for transporting wounded and laying mines. During a period in the mid-1960s, it was placed on the Swedish civilain register and participated in an expedition to Svalbard. Later it was transferred to the Flygvapnet air flotilla F 7 at Såtenäs. The HKP 2 came to the Flygvapenmuseum in 1986 after having flown just over 1,000 hours.

Delivered to the Swedish Army as 02202 in 1959. To the Swedish Air Force as 02406 in 1969. Preserved at the Flygvapenmuseum from 1987.

Delivered to the Swedish Army as 02201 in 1959. Retired in 1969 and used as a ground trainer at Västerås -Johannisberg. To the Flygteknikcentrum at Västerås-Hässlö by 1988 and stored. To the Swedish Air Force Museum (Flygvapenmuseum) at Linköping/Malmen in 2015 then to Brattbytorpet Vintage Machine Museum in Stavre, near Östersund, in October 2016.
