Taken next to the Castle Donnington circuit end of East Midlands Airport this Citation was owned by the F1 racing driver Nelson Piquet at the time this photo was taken. Delivered new to the Swiss register in 1973 as HB-VDC. Later to D-ICPW, OE-FNL, HB-VDC, OE-FNP, D-IFAI, and finally to the USA as N80AJ in 1996. Later WFU and scrapped with the registration being cancelled on 08 June 2018.

Citation 500-0100 was built in 1973 and stayed on several European registers between 1973 and 1996: in Switzerland as HB-VDC, in Germany as D-ICPW and D-IFAI, and in Austria as OE-FNP and as OE-FNL (1977-1978). It ended up as N80AJ and was last noted in 2017, probably wfu.
