This Albatross served in the Canadian air force as a CSR-110 from 1960 until 1970, and then in the Chilean navy until 1979. She was one of two acquired by Malaysia as late as 1988. Troubled by maintenance problems, they only lasted for three years.

Originally thought to have been ex RCAF 9307 and to Mexico 8.3.74 (one of four CSR-110s supplied by Canada), but some doubt has now been cast on this aircraft's identity. Canadian Albatrosses had more powerful Wright R-1820-82 engines with an air scoop on top of the nacelle; this aircraft may in fact be one from two later batches of ex USN HU-16s, eight ex-DM in 1976 and four in 1978. Re-serialling later occurred and like many Mexican i/d's, this one is very difficult to verify
