Delivered to United Ailines as N8073U in 1967. Converted to a DC-8-71 in 1984. To Lineas Aereas Paraguayas in 1991 then to Translift as EI-TLD in 1992. To Aero USA as N500MH in 1993 then converted to a DC-8-71(F) freighter for Emery Worldwide Airlines in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 2002 and later scrapped.

Became JA8050 in 1971 then to ABX Air as N844AX in 1990 and eventually broken up for parts. Exciting to see this (for then) monster at the show. Aero Spacelines Guppy parked behind.

With the mountains of County Tipperary in the background, N26UA departs on lease to Air Algérie for Hadj duties. Its operator at this time was Trans International Airways.

Eastern's DC-8-61 was delivered on 23 February 1967. To Japan Als on 11 June 1971 as JA8050. An Eastern short fuselage DC-9-14 is posed alongside for comparison. From EAL 40 years ago.
