In the third British Airways colour scheme I photographed it in. Delivered to British Airways as G-BBAF in 1974. To Caledonian Airways in 1990. Converted to an L-1011-100 in 1991. Stored at Abu Dhabi from 1999. To Ducor World Airlines as 3C-QRL in 2002, International Air Services as A8-AAB in 2004, Reem Air in 2006 then to the Government of Tchad as TT-DWE in 2007 and stored at Ras Al Khaimah. Towed to the National Emirates Auto Museum, Abu Dhabi in 2009 for preservation.

I really miss those sunny summer evenings at the famous FRA sightseeing deck. Come on FRA airport company, reopen a viewing deck at Terminal 1! 'Babbacombe Bay' is seen leaving FRA for a short trip to the UK.
