Reregistered to YV-52C in Jul 1975. To British Midland as N65358 on 26 Aug 1976. Reregistered to G-BFIH on 07 Apr 1978. Reregistered to G-BMAA on 26 Mar 1980. To Intercontinental as HK-3827X on 03 Mar 1993. WFU on 10 Jun 2004 at BOG when the airline was grounded. In use as restaurant 'Mayday' in Manizales, Colombia and noted in Feb 2021.

Ex YV-52C, registered 17th June 1976 and BMA's first DC-9. It operated on the busy Tees-side LHR route during the week and at weekends was used for flights to Jersey from other airports. Re-registered G-BFIH 7th Apr 1978, then G-BMAA 26th March 1980

Not at all familiar under the Douglas registration, this 1966-built DC-9 will be much better remembered as G-BMAA, although till 3.80 the reg G-BFIH was used. Formerly N8964 of Continental, then TC-JAA, XA-DEV, YV-C-AVC and YV-52C. To Intercontinental Colombia as HK-3827X in 3.93. Airline grounded 6.04 and aircraft seized 2.05; moved from BOG in 12.14 to Manizales and set up as 'Mayday Restaurant'
