Early 2020, the Kunz Aircraft Recovery School added an A320 to its 'fleet' here, moving the Tupolev to a much better spot for photos from the outside. The remains of its Orenburg Airlines markings can still be seen in several places. It flew a total of 51,716 hours before being retired.

Very happy to see the Kunz Aircraft Recovery School got its A320 - because that was the reason to lift the Tupolev to its new spot on soft ground, where it poses much better for photos!

This was built in May 1978 and served with Aeroflot as CCCP-65117 and the RA-65117. With this latter registration it went on to fly with Orenburg Airlines/Orenair, Aviaexpresscruise and Tyumen Avia. The plane had been wfu by July 2012 and was shipped to Hahn am See to become a simulator with Kunz Aero for aircraft recovery procedures. The company's other aircraft, A.320 D-AIQC, is in the background.

Former Orenair Tu-134 now preserved as a simulator for aircraft recovery procedures at Kunz Aero in Hahn am See, Germany. The aircraft came from Orenburg-Tsentralny in Russia and arrived here in late 2014.
