Delivered to United Air Lines as CV340-31 N73108 in 1952. To Frontier Airlines and converted to a CV580 in 1967. To Frontier Commuter in 1983 then to Metroflight and operated for American Eagle in 1985. Traded in to SAAB in 1987 and stored at Marana. Sold as HK-3616X and then seized by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at Quebec, Canada for drug running in 1992. Reregisterd as C-FRDE then to Kelowna Flightcraft as C-FYTV in 1994 and used for parts as Kelowna, BC. Scrapped in 2003.

This aircraft had recently been bought by SAAB Aircraft Holdings after a couple of years with Metroflight/American Eagle. In 1992 it was acquired by SERCA Colombia as HK-3616X but appears to have been used for drug smuggling, as it was seized by the RCMP in November 1992. It was re-registered as C-FRDE and later bought by Kelowna Flightcraft Charter in 1994 as C-FYTV. It was scrapped circa 2003.

Ex American Eagle / Metroflight. Later HK-3616X SERCA Colombia. Impounded by the RCMP Nov 92 for drug smuggling. Re-registered C-FRDE at some point. Later acquired by Kelowna Flightcraft Charter. Broken up circa 2003.
