Built in 1965, this a/c was owned by Northern Natural Gas Company when I took this slide. After going through multiple owners in the U.S., it was purchased by Sabreliner Corp. in 1990 and converted to T-39N USN Bureau Number 165514. From 1991 through 2003 it was used by the Navy for the training of Student Naval Flight Officers.

Holder of the World Endurance Record of 653 hours non-stop refuelled flight set between June 4 and July 1 1935 by the Key Brothers circling above their home airport of Meridian, Mississippi. Flown to Washington by the brothers in 1955 and presented to the NASM for display.
