Non-standard basic white livery remaining from previous operator Gulf Air

Delivered new to PanAm as N448PA 8th May 1967 and returned to lessor 26th Sep 1977. Leased to Maverick Airlines 20th Oct 1977 and re-registered N448M 13th June 1978. Lease transferred to BMA 1st Apr 1979 for various sub-leases and operated as British Midland Cargo for a few months before going to Eagle Air as TF-VLL 3rd July 1981. Found its way back to BMA as G-BMAZ 7th May 1982

This aircraft, seen at the East Midlands Airport is untitled though Zaire can be seen painted out. The aircraft was leased to Zaire from 12th September, 1979 to October 1979, just a few weeks. Over many years as an enthusiast only one log book has been lost, the one that contains the precise date of this photograph.

Ex Maverick International and Pan Am (N448PA) of origin. Later TF-VLL Eagle Air and back to British Midland as G-BMAZ. Then N863BX Burlington Express, N705FW Florida West and 5N-EEO Air Atlantic Cargo.

Delivered new to Pan Am as N448PA in 5.67 and enjoyed quite a chequered career which included short leases to BMA, PIA, Zaire Aero Service, Air Rwanda, Libyan Arab and Eagle Air as well as three months with Gulf Air. Went to Burlington Air Express in 11.85 then Florida West in 7.93, ending up with Air Atlantic Nigeria as 5N-EEO in 11.95. Broken up 10.02 at Lagos
