Additional titles necessitated the relocation of aircaft designation and name to rear fuselage. Application of the unsuccesful Berlin 2000 Olympic nomination logos further displaced designation and name to the lower fuselage.

Bittersweet sight. This was the final landing of a Lufthansa A300 at TXL. The type was retired from the active fleet the following day. This frame now flies with Mahan Air in Iran as EP-MNL.
