Started with Pacific Western in 1972 as CF-PWP, went on to serve with among others Pan Am, acquired by Westjet in 1995, sored in 2005, scrapped in 2007.

WestJet Cargo's schedule seems fairly inconsistent. The LAX flight operated once and the YYZ only comes in a few times a week. This "daytime" flight seems to be a new and very much welcome addition! It arrived around 4am from Calgary as WS9009.

Built in 1972 for Pacific Western Airlines and several operators later it is here with the fledgling Westjet. It was stored then scrapped around 2005. At this time Westjet, who started flying in February 1996, still only had six aircraft in the fleet and carried out all their maintenance in hangar space rented from Esso Avitat.
