On display at the Luftwaffenmuseum. The aircraft wears the Alpine badge and special livery to commemorate 34 years of Jagdbombergeschwader 34 "Allgäu" (JaboG34), which was formed on the F-84F Thunderstreak on 29 Nov 1958. The unit flew the F-104G from 1964 till 1987, amassing 242,785 hours on the type. It converted to the Tornado in 1987, which it flew till JaboG34 stood down at Memmingen in Dec 2002.

The special livery commemorates 43 years of JaboG 34, this being the last aircraft to leave Memmingen AB. Subsequently withdrawn from use at Erding in May 2003, it was first preserved in the Luftwaffenmuseum at Gatow

Well-kept inside a shelter at Memmingen, the collection of Museum JaBoG34 keeps the history of this unit alive. Tornado 4456 was painted in special colours upon the disbandment of the unit and is one of three aircraft currently with the collection. It is part of the collection since 28 November 2012.

This 1984 Luftwaffe Tornado carries a special livery commemorating 43 years of JaboG 34, it was the last aircraft that left Memmingen air base and was subsequenty withdrawn from use at Erding from May 2003. The aircraft was prepped for preservation at Berlin-Gatow and transported by road to Berlin-Gatow. It was reported as stored inside hangar 3 from September 2012.
