Delivered new to VT-25 at NAS Beeville, Texas in November 1975, later assigned to VT-7 at NAS Meridian, Mississippi. In 1998 transferred to NAS Pensacola, Florida for use as a ground trainer. Currently on loan from the National Naval Aviation Museum and on display at Veteran's Memorial Park in Collegedale, Tennessee.

Photographed from the far side of the tour bus. 26 Nov 1975: TOS USN. 11 Dec 1975: VT-25, NAS Chase Field, TX. 2/77: Naval Air Rework Facility at NAS Pensacola, FL. 1/81: VT-7/TW-1, NAS Meridian, MS. 3/88 to 3/98: TW-1's commander's plane. By 3/99 the plane was stored on the ramp at the National Naval Aviation Museum. In 2015 it was on loan to the Veteran's Memorial Park in Collegedale, TN, where it is mounted on a pole.

Taken on strength by the US Navy in November 1975, this Skyhawk served as Training Air Wing 1 (TW-1) Commander's aircraft during it's last ten years of service. Stored at NAS Pensacola on the ramp at the National Naval Aviation Museum since 1999, it was loaned to VFW Post 1697 just a few months after this photo was taken. Mounted on a pole September 6, 2015, the aircraft is displayed at Veteran's Memorial Park in Collegedale, TN.
