This ATR 42 would move back and forth between Canadian Partners Ontario Express and Inter-Canadian until returned to the manufacturer after Inter-Canadian ceased operations in November 1999 and stored their aircraft . Registered F-WQOK June 2001 and in July, F-WQNG, it was sold to Solenta Aviation February 26, 2002 and became ZS-OVP.

Canadian Airlines regional partner Inter-Canadian introduced the first ATR 42 into Canada in 1988. In 1990, Inter-Canadian cancelled their code share agreement and became Intair. The business plan failed and Canadian re-purchased the airline to resurrect Inter-Canadian. This ATR, delivered October 26, 1988, was sold to Cimber Air in November 1997 (OY-CIU). It's current with Danish Air Transport at the time of uploading.

This aircraft landed so far from the runway threshold that it looked more like it was making a low pass than a landing approach. I guess it saves time on taxying!

Built for Inter-Canadian in 1990.

Although extremely small, it does carry Air Atlantique titles just below the side windshield.
