Newly built at Fairey's Heyes (Middlesex) factory. Displayed at the 1954 Farnborough SBAC show. Later served 796 Squadron at RNAS Culdrose, Cornwall.

Assembled and tested by Fairey Aviation at Manchester (Ringway) Airport and exhibited at the 1957 Farnborough air show before shipment to Australia.

The 39th of 102 Gannets built at Ringway. First flew 12 December 1955, still in bare metal. Painted in full FAA markings and delivered to RNAS Anthorn (Cumberland) on 24 January 1956.

The first of 102 Gannets built at Stockport and test flown from Ringway, WN370 is seen undergoing final assembly.

Still showing damage to its prop and fin from its 1967 encounter with the crash barrier on the HMAS Melbourne. Eventually ended up in the Camden Aviation Museum.

Withdrawn from use awaiting disposal. Acquired by Moorabbin Aviation Museum
