To Air Sofia as LZ-SFE in 1992, Sigi Air Cargo as LZ-SGD then BF Cargo as LZ-BFA in 1993. Back to Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant (KnAAPO) as RA-11230 in 1996. Withdrawn from use at Komsomolsk na Amure Dzyomgi around 2007. Possibly the An-12 visible at 50.5961N, 137.0879E on the satellite image in 2021.

On the north side of Kabul International Airport, a small dump was found with several aircraft, among others, this An-12BP fuselage.

Some hour drive from Kabul, a real massive scrapyard of the Afghan Army was found. Only a few sandy paths were cleared from land mines, so I couldn't reach this wreckage for an inspection of the type and construction number. It is possible that the debris surrounding 397 did not belong to 397 itself. What a mess...

An unmarked An-12BP that started its life with the Soviet AF. The a/c was transferred to the civil marked in most probably 2002 and first noted with titels of Natalco Air Lines in 2003. Between late '03 and late '05 it was operated by Phoenix Avia as EK-12148. In Nov'06 the BP was regarded as unairworthy in Antonov list and banned from flying in Kenya. It was seen at Sharjah and in Jun'08 reported as owned by Phoenix Avia Gulf Ltd. The An-12 was cancelled by the Armenian CAA on 15 Sep'12, and seen at N'Djamena on 20 Dec'14. Since 11 Feb'15 is is reported with the Chad Air Force as TT-PAI 12148

Withdrawn from use at Fujairah by 2010, and possibly one of two still there in 2020. Cargoair NZ was formed 14 Feb 1997, to transport horses and other live stock from New Zealand to Australia. The short-lived company was put into voluntary liquidation 27 Nov 1997.
