Pacific Western Airlines Convair 640, CF-PWY, photographed from the original observation deck unloading passengers in the rain at Vancouver International Airport in September 1973. Many decades would pass before 'jet bridges' were introduced at YVR for turboprop services. PWA repainted this aircraft a few years later in a blue and white colour scheme. After PWA it was operated by Aero Trades Western Ltd., Worldways Canada (1982-1983), Air Niagara (1983-1994) and then leased back and forth between Time Air and North Canada Air at least three times between 1987 to 1993, then retired.

Harrison Airways acquired two Convair 440s from Scandinavia in the mid-1970s. The first, CF-HAF (msn 432), was painted in the airline's blue and white colour scheme. The second, C-GBHA arrived at YVR in Stellair colours with the Canadian registration crudely applied on the rear fuselage with tape. This 440 never entered service with Harrison Airways before bankruptcy. Sold to Aero Dyne Corp of Renton, Washington as N440AD and later flown by Airways Int'l. and Trans Texas Air Freight. Sold to Peru in 1988 and to Bolivia in 1992 as CP-2256. It crashed on Sep. 14, 1993 near Colquemarca, Peru.

Helijet started scheduled helicopter operations in November 1986 linking downtown Vancouver and Victoria. In early 2018, the company acquired three former offshore S-76C++ helicopters from PHI in Louisiana when it won new contracts to fly guests from Massett and Sandpit airports to remote salmon fishing resorts in Haida Gwaii (previously known as the Queen Charlotte Islands), an archipelago off BC's northwest coast. In 2022, Helijet started flying flying its S-76C++ on its scheduled passenger routes after partnering with Blade Urban Air Mobility, Inc. ("Blade"), replacing older S-76As.

Helijet used to dedicate its older Sikorsky S-76A's to its scheduled passenger service linking Vancouver Harbour with downtown Victoria and Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. After Helijet entered into a commercial agreement with Blade Urban Air Mobility, Inc. ("Blade") in late 2021, many of the flights are now operated by the company's more powerful Sikorsky S-76C++ fleet. S-76C++ spent many years supporting offshore oil and gas exploration in the Gulf of Mexico with PHI as N790P before joining the Helijet fleet in March 2018.

Ascent Helicopters of Parksville, BC acquired this MD900 in October 2012 initially to work on high voltage power line maintenance contracts with BC Hydro, the provincial hydro electric power utility. The company was subsequently awarded an air ambulance contract from its base on Vancouver Island. The helicopter usually transfers island patients to hospitals in Nanaimo and Victoria. The MD900 also serves communities on the BC mainland such as Powell River, with patients transferred to Vancouver hospitals. This is the only MD900 flying in Canada. It was previously N7006X and N902JW.

This 2010 model Sikorsky S-92A, C-GXQI, was seen ground running outside the Heli-One Canada hangar at Vancouver Airport on November 11, 2022. Heli-One is the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) unit of CHC Helicopters which is based in Dallas, TX. Test flown by Sikorsky as N2133X, it flew with CHC in the UK as G-CHCS, and was exported to the US as N760MR in March 2020. CHC does not fly offshore oil and gas contracts in the US or Canada, its original birthplace. The S-92 was first registered to Heli-One in August 2022 and will probably depart soon for an international CHC contract.

Bell 214B-1, C-FZVT, has been registered to Black Tusk Helicopters of Squamish, BC since May 1997. The helicopter previously operated in the United States as N9941K and in Norway as LN-OSG with Helikopter Service AS and Lufttransport AS (a HS company). Black Tusk acquired a new Kaman K-Max C-FZVM in March 2021 for logging so its three Bell 214B-1s could be dedicated to firefighting, but the K-Max crashed in the ocean while logging near Killam Bay, BC on October 4, 2021. The family-owned company also operates two Bell 206B's, a Airbus AS350B2 and a new K-Max, C-FZVB, delivered in March 2022
