Delivered to British Airways in April 1997. Withdrawn from use and stored at Heathrow between december 2009 - May 2011. To FedEx in May 2011 as N952FD. Stored at Victorville between June - December 2011, likely for cargo conversion.

This 757 was delivered to BA in May 1998 and is pictured about to touch down on rw05 after arriving from Heathrow. Before the type was withdrawn from the BA fleet this plane was painted in a commemorative retro scheme for a final farewell and was withdrawn from use in November 2010 withdrawn from use and std at LHR 6 Nov 2010. The frame was subsequently converted to a freighter and from Mach 2013 flies with FedEx as N956FD.

Leased to Skyservice Airlines as C-FLEU in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 before returning as G-CPEU each time. Then sold as N496SR in January 2019 and subsequently B-20AW in September 2019.

On this day the visibility was very bad due to sand being blown over by Easterly winds from the Sahara. At least four aircraft messed up their approach and had to go-around. This was one of them with the pilot executing a very tight turn to line up on his second attempt with the rw03 centreline. This 757 was delivered to Iberia in September 2000. It also flew with RAK Airways as A6-RKA and is still current with Icelandair as TF-LLX.
