The 194th Fighter Interceptor Squadron operated in September 1987 some twenty F-4Ds as well as four T-33A T-birds. This bare metal one catched the eye of everyone. What a visit it was!

The 194th Fighter Interceptor Squadron of the California Air National Guard used the mighty F-4D Phantom II. This is of course the classic picture that most photographers want to click, when visiting an Air National Guard Base

A fresh arrival for the 194th FIS at Fresno, the F-4D was awaiting squadron markings.

132 Filo Hançer (Dagger), based at Konya transferred its F-4E Phantoms to 111 Filo at Eskisehir during 2014. The unit received subsequently F-16Cs Block 30s. This Viper is taxying to the runway of its homebase to participate in a Combined Air Operation (COMAO) with some forty jets during Anatolian Eagle 2019.

During Anatolian Eagle 2019, this Super Hercules of 12 Transport Squadron (12sq) of the Qatar Emeri Air Force acted as a slow-mover for fast-jet intercepts, as well as a platform for parajumpers and cargo drops.

2 Squadron, based at As Shaheed Muwaffaq al Salti air base, also known as Al Azraq air base deployed three F-16s to Konya for participation in Anatolian Eagle 2019. This dual seat F-16BM was once part of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) and carried serial J-884.

The 135 Filo at Konya is using this Cougar, although no markings are carried. The squadron, named Ates (Fire), also operates with CN235M-100s and UH-1Hs.

CN235M during its landing during exercise Anatolian Eagle 2019. The VIP-aircraft made its first flight in August 1993 and was delivered in October of that year.

The 113 Filo, named Ceylan (Gazelle), was formed after the failed Turkish Coup on 15 July 2016. The squadron took over the role of 142 Filo and operates the F-16C/D that can be equipped with the huge DB-110 Recce pod. The F-16s still use the same markings as 142 Filo had painted on their tail.

Although this Phantom is painted with 171 Filo markings, this unit stopped F-4E operations in 2016. All Turkish F-4s are operated with 111 Filo since that year.

A 111 Filo Phantom with special markings... 1958-2018, 60 years of service. The F-4 started operations that long ago! The Turkish Air Force has operated the type for 47 years.

In 2005, the Italian Air Force started the Aggiornamento Capacità Operative e Logistiche (ACOL), Operational and Logistical Capability Upgrade programme for 55 of its AMX aircraft. The ACOL included a new laser INS, new cockpit displays and allowing the aircraft to drop Joint Direct Attack Munition guided bombs. This AMX is apparently flown by an US Air Force exchange pilot, the US flag and the flag on the flight suit, reveals this detail. The 132 Gruppo is based at Istrana, Vittorio Bragadin air base (Italy) but was deployed with three aircraft to Konya in support of exercise Anatolian Eagle 2019.
