Sadly, this Otter was destroyed in a hangar fire in the winter of 2011, when it was operated by Liard Air of Muncho Lake in northern British Columbia. When the fire was discovered it was impossible to open the hangar doors because of an electrical power failure. A DHC-2 Beaver was also lost in the fire.
