The special modified CL604MPA is equipped with modern sensors, and the MPA - nicknamed the Dhow-Hunter (Dhows are ships used by pirates)- can cover some 75,000 square miles in a single patrol sortie.

But photography during the turbulence (and unexpected movements of the helicopters while avoiding birds) is quite a challenge. Two Cougars were based at the HNLMS Johan de Witt, a Dutch Navy Landing Platform Dock (LPD) amphibious warfare ship for the duration of some five months during the Operation.

The Point of the Spear Squadron, that is the beautiful name of 106sq within the Heyl Ha'Avir (Israeli Air Force). This F-15D Baz shows its huge air brake while landing at Nellis AFB during Red Flag 2015-4. Also clearly seen behind the cockpit is the Israeli modification, a high bandwidth satellite communications system just behind the canopy. The secretive large bulbous R2-D2 like satellite communications dome is only seen on Israeli Eagles.

The Point of the Spear Squadron, that is the beautiful name of 106sq within the Heyl Ha'Avir (Israeli Air Force). This F-15D Baz shows its huge air brake while landing at Nellis AFB during Red Flag 2015-4. Also clearly seen behind the cockpit is the Israeli modification, a high bandwidth satellite communications system just behind the canopy. The secretive large bulbous R2-D2 like satellite communications dome is only seen on Israeli Eagles.

During Red Flag 2015-4, the Republic of Singapore Air Force participated with CH-47Ds helicopters and F-16C/D jet fighters. The F-16s operate normally from nearby Luke AFB, the reason the look like US Vipers. But this F-16D Block 52 (high spine) shows clearly the Singaporese roundel on the rear of the fuselage.
