Active in Haiti since 1986, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) USA flew this Kodiak 100 from Port-au-Prince in 2010, it went to MAF Indonesia in February 2011 as PK-MEC.

This SA227AC Metro III C6-JER, landed at Cap Haitien Airport (CAP), Haiti, with its landing gear retracted on 20 December 2009. All crew and 19 passengers escaped without injuries. Somehow the aircraft was put back on its feet and is seen here awaiting its fate in April 2010.

The Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard leased this FBHeliservice-owned AW139 to operate from Hato from October 2012. The helicopter serves the Dutch Caribbean with SAR, medevac and law enforcement missions. PH-FBH is showing it capabilities during Parera Maritiem 2013 in Curacao.

A former Haiti Air Freight DC-6 found in the Argentinian UN-Aviation compound at Port-au-Prince, where it served as a club house for military personnel deployed to Haiti with the UN (MINUSTAH). It was called the Bandi 2 Club. Argentinian technicians went to great lenghts to get three out of four engines running, illustrating the good shape of the aircraft! The aircraft was still there by mid 2023, but by then in very poor condition.

The United Nations - World Food Programma contracted this Skoll-owned Mi-171C for work in Haiti. It was allocated a UN-code UN-91W at the time but this was not carried externally, only used in paperwork.

UN-code ranges are allocated for each mission, the low 100-range was used by MINUSTAH at the time. As the Dash was recently brought in from Afghanistan, it still carried its United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) code 234.

DC-6 HH-SCA was formerly operated by Haiti Air Freight. Here seen in the Chilean UN-Aviation compound at Port-au-Prince (Haiti) where it served as a club house for Chilean military personnel deployed to Haiti with the UN (MINUSTAH) called the MINUS-pub. The aircraft misses its engines and one side has been repainted in Chilean national colours including cartoon figures Condorito and Yayita!

Jaime Duque was an Avianca pilot who set up this amusement park just north of Bogota, where this DC-4 can be found, painted as Avianca HK-136. To get good views of the aircraft in the park I recommend the monorail ride!

This is ex PT-KUC in fake Fuerza Aerea Colombiana colours as HK-123. Parque Jaime Duque is north of Bogota and has a few classic airacrft. The park is adjacent to the new location of the Museo Aeroespacial Colombiano (since 2016).

This shiny Dak was flown to Panama a few months before this picture was taken and kept on the ground due to "irregularities".

Its best years are behind it, Convair 440 HH-OMA was found near the eastern threshold of Port-au-Prince airport and provided a welcome sunshelter for workers in the area of the UN logistics compound.

Tortug'Air provided frequent flights to other Haitian cities during 2010, one of the few things in the country that worked as advertised.
