In 2004, the Swiss AF became launch customer for the PC-21, and initially ordered six units (serials A-101 through A-106), which for the first few years carried this special red / white livery, before they received an almost complete red paint scheme with only a thin white cheatline. In December of 2010, an additional two PC-21 were ordered, they became A-107 (c/n 153) and A-108 (c/n 154). Pictured here is the first Swiss AF PC-21, still carrying it's civilian test registration HB-HYA before entering service as A-101 with the pilot school at Emmen AB.

Licence built by Turkish Aerospace under the "Peace Onyx III" Foreign Miltary Sales program. Unfortunately, no visible serial can be seen on this airframe, but it is believed to be the same aircraft which alreday had a special - but different - livery during the NTM 2012. Thus, confirmation if this actually is 94-0108 with c/n HD-10 is much appreciated. According to F-16.net, this airframe serves with 151 Filo since July 2018.

With a total of 123 MBB BO-105CB/CBS licence produced by Nurtanio-IPTN in Bandung (becoming NBO-105's), this rugged helicopter enjoyed high popularity among the armed forces and private operators of Indonesia. HR-1518 pictured here is one of at least seven NBO-105's operated by the TNI-AU (Indonesian AF) but assigned to the national SAR agency, better known as BASARNAS (Badan SAR Nasional). In addition, the agency recently added at least two AS-365N3 plus one AW139 to its fleet. All BASARNAS helicopters are kept in this typical orange paint scheme.

In November of 1968, this airframe was delivered new to the Royal Saudi AF's 16 Sqn based in Jeddah, carrying serial "1606". In June 2002, it was assigned to the RSAF's 4 Sqn and re-serialled to "479". It was put up for sale - being an older E-Model - around 2007 and consequently bought by the Turkish AF, which assigned serial "68-01606" to it, a mix of the year of manufacture and the first serial it carried while flying for the Royal Saudi AF.

Built in 1999, this Grand Caravan was first registered as N1283K to Tropical Aviation, who in the year 2000 sold it to Blue Sky Aviation (a subsidary of MAF). Between April 2000 and March 2011, it flew as N208BS for Blue Aviation in Mongolia before being registered locally as JU-2114. MAF USA bought the plane in March 2020, ferry flew it to the Netherlands, where it got refurbished and prepared for its new work in Guinea, West-Africa. It is seen here departing Grenchen after a brief stop-over in Switzerland, first heading to Uganda before continuing to its final destination Conakry.

This particular indonesian built airframe had it's 1st flight on November 30, 1983 as PK-XDJ and was delivered to the TNI-AL in March of 1984. It was, after U-610, the 2nd airframe for the Indonesian Navy and there are conflicting reports about how many CASA-IPTN 212's the branch took on. This 1980 built S-76A was first registered in the US as N104BH, then G-BJVW, then as 9M-AYD with Malaysian Helicopter Service, then as PT-YDM in Brazil before going back to Malaysia as 9M-BDG. Finally, it was registered in Australia as VH-XHZ before joining the HeliJet fleet in January of 2003. The aircraft was lost after a landing accident on Langara Island (BC) on August 13, 2012, when it submerged into salt water, consequently being written off. Registration C-GHJT has previously already been assigned to a few S-76A's, including S/N 760096, 760160 and 760288.

This airframe was the 2nd S-70A "Firehawk" purchased new by the LACoFD in 2001. It returns here at 8am from a 24 hour shift it spent on Helipad "Bravo 69", which is located closer to a possible bush fire than Barton heliport, cutting down the response time if need be. Each day around 10am, another S-70 heads out to Bravo 69, while the previous ship undergoes maintenance at Barton, HQ of LACoFD's aviation branch.

This 2011 built EC135 is the latest addition to the Air-Glaciers rescue helicopter fleet, and recently joined HB-ZEF (based in Sion) and HB-ZRK (based in Lauterbrunnen). It was bought as I-HFVG from italian operator Elifriulia in August 2021 (keeping the former operator's basic yellow colors for now) and is currently based in Collombey, covering the western part of the canton Valais / Wallis. Apparently, a 4th EC135 is supposed to join the AG fleet soon and will be based in Saanen in the Bernese Oberland.

"Heli Flugrettung Südtirol" was founded in 2010 and has been operating two fixed bases in Bolzano (Pelikan 1) and Bressanone (Pelikan 2). Both Pelikan 1 and 2 wear a basic orange color, while Pelikan 3 pictured here is currently only a 3 year trial program, hence the yellow baisc color. It runs since February 1, 2020 till December 31, 2022, after which it will probably become a permanent base as well. In 2020, H145 I-SLND was Pelikan 3, then between May 29 and October 3, 2021 it was I-AHTD and now since November 6, 2021, yet another H145 (I-SUEM) is covering the region.
