This one-time KLM Connie was later dismantled, shipped to Wroughton for the Science Museum and painted in TWA colours.

Ex KLM Connie, beautifully preserved at the Wroughton Science Museum facility. Delivered to KLM in 1947, as PH-TET "Tilburg", later PH-LDT, and withdrawn from use Sep 1960. It was converted to freighter in 1962, then briefly carried TI-1045P in 1964 before becoming N7777G that same year. As such it saw service with many operators until impounded at Dublin in 1974, where it would remain for many years. Sold to Aces High in 1982 and registered as G-CONI, but reg never applied. The Science Museum acquired the aircraft and transported it from Dublin to Wroughton in July 1983. Restoration completed in Sep 1984 in TWA colours, even though it never flew for TWA.

Notice the black panther on the nose. The full name of the operating company is COPISA, Compania Peruana Internacional de Aviacion.

Delivered as an L-749 to Aerlinte Eireann as EI-ACS on 28 August 1947. To BOAC as G-ALAL 15 June 1948. Converted to L-749A. Leased to Skyways July 1959. To ACE 4 February 1965. Operating a freight charter from Stuttgart to Ringway and out to Prague. Retired by ACE in September 1966.

Former ACE Freighters aircraft. CofA expired 28 Mar 1966. Stored Coventry Airport, Baginton, UK. Registration cancelled 04 Dec 1967. Aircraft destroyed in an arson attack on 1 Feb 1970. Note DC-4 G-APEZ in the background.

Ex Air India, Qantas and BOAC. Converted to freighter in 1960 and served Ace Freighters from February 1964 until stored at CVT. Destroyed there by fire on 1 February 1970.

Delivered new to Air France as F-BAZH in 1950. CN-CCP with Royal Air Maroc from 1960 to 1967. Served Peru Internacional (COPISA) from 1967 until retired late 1971, then stored and scrapped at Miami.
